Mosta, Malta | 2025 | Residential Design

This project explores the relationship between interior and exterior living through a contemporary residential design that emphasises openness, natural lighting, and material continuity. The design focuses on creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces through large openings, shaded outdoor areas, and a consistent material palette. Vertical slatted elements were used as key architectural features, providing shading, privacy, and visual rhythm while also defining the double-height volume. The interior layout centres around social living, dining, and kitchen areas that connect directly to outdoor entertainment spaces, including seating areas, cooking facilities, and relaxation zones. The overall concept aims to create a modern living environment that balances openness with comfort, encouraging social interaction while maintaining a calm and refined spatial atmosphere.
