Logħob Tradizzjonali
Il-Belt Valletta, Malta | 2026 | Exhibition Design
This project reinterprets traditional Maltese games through a spatial framework that prioritises movement, interaction, and clarity of experience. The exhibition is organised as a sequence of distinct yet connected zones, each designed to encourage active participation while maintaining a coherent circulation path. Bold colour strategies and defined display elements act as both spatial markers and navigational cues, guiding users intuitively between activities. The design translates cultural heritage into a contemporary language by abstracting familiar game formats into controlled spatial interventions. Material choices emphasise tactility and durability, reinforcing interaction and referencing everyday local contexts. The result balances playfulness with spatial order, allowing cultural narratives to emerge through engagement rather than static display.
